These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the PaperChase.HELP service ("PaperChase", the "Service"), operated by Indulgy Inc. ("Indulgy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, the organization you represent (the "Firm", "you") agrees to these Terms.
PaperChase is a multi-tenant, configuration-driven document intake and packaging service. It collects documents from a Firm's clients across multiple channels, extracts structured information, tracks completeness, and packages the result for the Firm's professionals to review. PaperChase determines only collection state — whether the information needed to begin a review has been gathered — and never the merits of any professional matter.
The Service is an aid to human review, never a substitute for it. PaperChase does not provide tax, legal, immigration, insurance, financial, or other professional advice, and does not originate substantive advice, opinions, interpretations, commitments, or guarantees about any Firm's professional matter. Extraction asserts only the presence and structural validity of a data point — never its accuracy or truthfulness. The Firm's licensed professional remains solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and acting on all information.
You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials. Each individual user is one platform account. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
You will not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another Firm's data, probing or circumventing security, uploading malware, or using the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
Paid plans are metered by active Cases per billing period, with a volume-boxed free trial. Fees, included volumes, and trial limits are as presented at sign-up or in your order. We use a third-party payment processor (Stripe). If a payment lapses, access is suspended — it is not immediately deleted. A grace and retention window follows, during which Clients may still retrieve their own submissions, and we will give an explicit final notice before any deletion for non-payment.
All Client data is encrypted at rest and scoped to your Firm; no Firm can access another Firm's data. Our collection and processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where we act as your processor, a data processing addendum is available on request.
Client-facing surfaces of the Service carry your Firm's brand. You grant us a limited license to display your name, logo, and colors solely to operate those surfaces for you.
The Service, including its software and content (excluding your and your Clients' data), is owned by Indulgy and its licensors. You retain all rights in your and your Clients' data. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and package that data to provide the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that extracted data is accurate or complete.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INDULGY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You will indemnify and hold Indulgy harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your data, or your breach of these Terms or of any law applicable to your profession or your Clients.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment, subject to the suspension, grace, and notice provisions in Section 7. On deletion, data is removed in a manner consistent with the Privacy Policy and any retention obligations or legal holds.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
